Scientific Infographic - CHEOPS's discoveries

The project's objective is to make the discoveries and contributions of the scientific community, thanks to the CAB and the launch of CHEOPS, more accessible, appealing, and understandable.

The challenge was to create an animated video using 2D and 3D motion graphics resources to facilitate the comprehension and dissemination of a scientific topic. We used After Effects and Cinema 4D to illustrate one of the discoveries made by the CHEOPS satellite: WASP-103b, an exoplanet that caught the attention of scientists due to its peculiar rugby ball-like shape.

This project was carried out as part of the optional course in Graphic Design at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Madrid, in collaboration with Centro de Astrobiología (CAB).
